What is Howell Home Rehab"Howell Home
Rehab" is simply a home based wildlife refuge for orphan wildlife. I am
15 and I am aware of each species needs. I dedicate alot of time to the
individual animals I recieve. When animals can fend for themselves they
are placed in large outdoor cages for practice surviving in the wild until
they are able to be released.
Species accepted
I accept a
limited variety of wildlife including birds such as house sparrows, european
starlings, and pigeons. Mammals that I will care for include woodchucks,
eastern chipmunks, red squirrels, flying squirrels, and shrew-like mammals.
Only baby orphan wildlife is accepted.
*Note-in some cases I may take in baby exotic species of birds/eggs
(parrots)that would otherwise not have a chance of surviving. These birds
are obviouslly not released. Some baby domestic species of animals will
also be taken if the animal's life is in immediate danger(domestic waterfowl,
pet species, etc.) No large animals can be taken!
